Horse and Pony Care

We offer lots of opportunities for children and adults to learn about caring for horses and to practice their skills

 

A relaxing environment, with indoor and outdoor arenas and jumping paddocks offering year round, all weather riding.    We have comfortable changing facilities and plenty of parking so there’s no lack of comfort afforded when you’r not on horseback.

It could be simply somebody who wants to learn to ride for a holiday, or it could be a child who is a pony enthusiast who wants to spend their every waking hour being around horses.

 

But horses are like people, they come in all sizes and temperaments and if you want to learn about horses or have riding lessons, you should visit a professional riding school.

Based in Essex, Chelmsford Equestrian Centre aims to provide high quality equestrian experiences and training to it’s clients. We can take a child from absolute novice rider through to a confident horse owner once they reach maturity. CEC is BHS (British Horse Society) and ABRS (Assocaition of British Riding Schools) accredited which means that we are subject to external scrutiny to ensure that we meet the standards required of a professionally run establishment.

Known to many in the past as the “Chelmsford Riding School” because of its closeness to the centre of the city, we offer in addition to riding lessons, courses on riding and road safety, stable management, horse ownership, dressage and show jumping if required.
